Title: Orphans from St. Joseph's Hall and St. John's Home
Description:

Caption: "More than 250 happy kids, orphans from St. Joseph's Hall, Brooklyn, and St. John's Home, Rockaway Park, were guests at Steeplechase Park and did all of the rides there as many times as they wished. When it was all over, Donald La Rosa of St. John's Home, speaking for the kids, thanked Boro Works Commissioner John J. Lynch, a member of the Roman Catholic Orphan Asylum Society of Brooklyn. Thanks also went to George Tilyou, park owner, John J. Flannery of the Children's Bus Service, and all the cops who helped make the day one long to remember." Note: caption mentions four men, but image includes three.
