Caption: "World Series Serenade: Just before the opening of the 1947 World Series between the Yanks and the Dodgers, the Sym-Phony helps Brooklyn's Johnny Jorgenson and Bobby Bragan (wielding drum sticks) get over their pregame jitters. Murdering the music, left to right, are Pat Palma, cymbals; Jerry Martin, snare drum; Brother Lou Soriano, trombone; 'Matty' on trombone (they never learned his last name), and Jo-Jo Delio, a midget burdened with the big cigar, cane and bass drum."
